Bhoomi Pooja

Step-by-step procedure for performing the sacred ground-breaking ceremony to bless your construction site.

  1. Leveling and Clearing the Site

    Prepare and level the construction site properly.

  2. Pour or Sprinkle Holy Water

    Sprinkle holy water all around the site. Holy water comprises: water, cow's urine, turmeric powder, uncut lemon, tulasi juice, mango leaves juice, salt, and pachha karpoora.

  3. Light Incense Sticks

    Light incense sticks or dhoop sticks and wave them all around the site in clockwise direction. Start from and end at the southeastern corner of the site.

  4. Light Camphors

    Light camphors and wave them all around the site in clockwise direction. Start and end at the southeastern corner of the site.

  5. Invite the Cow

    Invite a cow (or both cow and calf) to the site. Allow the cow to face towards the east. Offer fruits, vegetables, and fresh cooked food. Perform pooja and offer prayers.

  6. Create Pit in Northeast Corner

    Dig in the northeast corner and create a small pit. Pour the following into this pit in the order mentioned:

    • Plain Water
    • Turmeric Water
    • Raw Milk
    • Pure Honey
    • Cow's Ghee
    • Tender Coconut Water
    • Plain Water
  7. Additional Poojas

    Perform other poojas as per your requirements.

  8. Marking and Excavation Work

    Begin the marking and excavation work for the foundation.

  9. Foundation and Mangal Kalash Installation

    Lay the foundation and install the Mangal Kalash. (We provide energized Mangal Kalash prepared with required divine rituals as per Vedic Scriptures)

  10. Sump Excavation and Loharatnas Installation

    Excavate the sump in the northeast direction and install auspicious Vaasthu Mandala Loharatnas. (We prepare these by conducting required divine rituals as per Vedic Scriptures to energize them)

  11. Additional Loharatnas

    We also provide energized Loharatnas for main doors, pooja room doors, and pooja slabs.
